  1. Select one of the two options:
    • Physics Option (10 credits) - Complete all the courses below:
      • PHYS 170 - PHYS 170L and PHYS 272 - PHYS 272L
    • Mathematics Option (9 credits) - Choose three courses from the list below:
      • MATH 300 , MATH 301 , CS 408 /MATH 408 , MATH 421 , MATH 422
  2. One WI course, preferably from the ENG department, such as ENG 209 , ENG 225 , or ENG 287 is recommended. CS 315 is currently designated as Writing Intensive.
  3. A minimum of a 2.0 cumulative GPA is required.
  4. A grade of "C" or better in each CS course is required for the degree and in MATH 311 .
  5. 45 Upper division (300 and 400-level) semester hours are required.
