Welcome to Disability Services at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo. My name is Suzy Travis, and I have the privilege of serving as the Disability Coordinator.
At UH Hilo, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed. Guided by the spirit of aloha, we are committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where students feel supported and have equitable access to their education.
Disability Services works in partnership with students, faculty, and staff to provide reasonable accommodations and help remove barriers to access. We are here to listen, answer questions, and support you in reaching your academic goals.
Whether you are exploring UH Hilo, are a current student, or are supporting someone on their journey, I hope you find this website helpful. Please don't hesitate to reach out, and we look forward to connecting with you.
Take care,
Suzy Travis, Ed.D. Disability Coordinator
