Program Review is a requirement under WSCUC Accreditation Standard 2.4: “The institution conducts periodic reviews of its degree programs. The program review process includes analysis of student achievement of the program’s learning outcomes.” Additionally, Standard 4.1 requires that “The Institution employs comprehensive quality assurance processes in . . . academic . . . areas and uses the results to improve institutional operations.” (For more information, please consult the 2023 Handbook of Accreditation)
Programs have been organized by colleges, which individually narrate what completing a degree from their specific programs means in terms of knowledge, skills, and student experience. Reviews are evidence of quality assurance and continual improvement.
