Class standing is determined by number of credits successfully completed. It does not include in-progress coursework.
Advising week runs from October 29, 2018 to November 2, 2018
Early registration begins November 5, 2018
Late registration begins Monday, January 7, 2019, with $30 late fee
- Students using Faculty/Staff Tuition Waivers must register during the late registration period to avoid being assessed the full tuition and fees. Contact Human Resources for more information.
Late adds after January 15, 2019, are permitted with instructor and Dean approval only; approval granted on a case-by-case basis. A Change of Registration form is needed. There is a $5.00 change fee.

Late adds after January 21, 2020, are permitted with instructor and Dean approval only; approval granted on a case-by-case basis. A Change of Registration form is needed. There is a $5.00 change fee.
Once classes begin, a student can withdraw from his/her last or only class via STAR. UH Hilo students who wish to withdraw from all UH Hilo classes can also obtain a Complete Withdrawal form from the Office of the Registrar or download from the Office of the Registrar forms page and follow official procedures. Please be aware of your financial obligations associated with your date of withdrawal.
