Imua Fitness Classes

    Campus Recreation Department provides numerous opportunities for patrons to meet their fitness goals. Qualified staff and resources are available for group and personal instruction in a wide variety of classes such as Zumba, Yoga, Boot Camp, Total Body Conditioning and Spin. Non-credit activities are also available to provide educational experiences for a wide variety of interests. The activities offered include Dance, Martial Arts, and Self-Defense. All Imua classes are free to members.

    UH Hilo Campus Recreation is apart of Rec Movement. These are virtual fitness classes offered by UH Hilo and over 150 other colleges Campus Recreation Departments across the country. Sign into the Recreation's sign-up page to get more information.

    Boot Camp (Virtual)

    Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays
    1:00p.m. - 2:00p.m.

    Are you looking for a total body workout and tired of doing the same routine? Well, this class is for you! This class integrates a variety of different exercises such as burpees, squats, lundges, overhead press, push-ups, etc. push-ups, bosu ball, free weights and kettlebell workout.

    Zumba® (Virtual)

    Tuesdays and Thursdays
    7:00a.m.- 8:00a.m.

    Fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program. You will love this exhilarating hour of caloric-burning, heart pumping class! body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements combined with core

    Zumba Toning® (Virtual)

    Tuesdays and Thursdays
    4:00p.m.- 5:00p.m.

    This class combines and targeted body-sculpting exercises and high energy cardio work with Latin-infused ZUMBA moves to create a strength training and calorie burning party! Zumba sticks are recommended, but not required to attend this class.
