Exploratory Health Sciences Meta Major
2-Year Academic Map 2020-2021
The Exploratory Health Sciences Meta-Major provides students the opportunity to explore a diversity of health science programs leading to rewarding careers. This meta-major allows students to investigate career pathways prior to selection of a major. The meta-major is designed to fulfill most general education requirements within the first two years. Students planning to apply to the BSN in Nursing are advised to declare the Exploratory Health Science Meta-Major.

Year 3 and Year 4
2-year plan that leads directly to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (upon admission) or guaranteed entry upon completion of year 1 and 2 courses into the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science--Health Promotions Track, or the Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Healthcare Management, or the Liberal Studies Degree.
Notes
- Courses are not Nursing application requirements.
- MATH 100 is a prerequisite for NURS 203 General Pharmacology to be taken in Year 1 Spring and is highly recommended that students take this course to fulfill the GQR requirement.
- Effective Fall 2021- COM 100 is no longer certified for DH: Humanities, please work with the EXHS advisor for any questions on GE Requirements.
