The University is in the pre-planning stage, collecting information to help inform a new strategic planning process. A listening tour, a series of conversations with faculty, staff, students, alumni, community members, and business partners, has been conducted. The UH System Board of Regents approved UH Hilo's Strategic Plan for 2011-2015 at its meeting on January 19th 2012.
This plan established the guiding principles that the university would follow for the coming years to ensure that we allocated our time, attention and resources effectively and responsibly for the maximum benefit of those we serve at UH Hilo.
