The Information Technology Services Help Desk was developed to provide a one-stop-shop for all your Computer and Audio/Visual technology assistance needs. If you need assistance, please submit a trouble ticket, chat, email us at, call us at (808) 932-7040, or stop by our offices at the Computing Center in the Business Education Building.

Supported Users and Services

We are committed to supporting our Students, Faculty, Staff and active affiliates of the UH Hilo campus with all your devices and network needs. Please understand the scope of our support below regarding Supported and "Best Effort" Support.

Supported (UH Hilo Owned) Devices and Services

All UH Hilo owned technologies are fully supported.

  • Computers: Assistance with desktops, laptops, and related peripherals.
  • Printers, Copiers, and Scanners: Support for setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Phones: Help with both desk phones and mobile devices.
  • Network Connectivity: Support for both wired and Wi-Fi networks.
  • Classroom Technology: Support for audio and video systems
  • Cyber Security: Guidance on protecting your devices and data from cyber threats.

"Best Effort" Support for Unsupported and Software

We will provide our "Best Effort" support for your personal devices.

  • Assistance Duration: Up to 15 minutes to troubleshoot the issue.
  • Referrals: If we cannot resolve the issue within the allotted time, we will provide recommendations for further assistance.
  • Liability: We are not liable for any damage to your hardware or software during the support process.
