UH accepts courses for transfer from institutions accredited by one of the six nationally recognized accrediting agencies. Courses from unaccredited institutions may not be accepted.

• New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC)
• North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA)
• Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU)
• Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)
• Western Association of Colleges and Schools (WASCUC)
