In just a few months, PIPES will celebrate 30 years of transformational experiences in aloha ʻāina research, management, and education in Hawaiʻi and throughout the Pacific. We are humbly asking for your support to continue PIPES programming. Text reads: How Will Your Donation Be Used? $100 To Gift an Intern Gear; This gift can go a long way in providing interns with the gear needed to make sure they are safe, comfortable, and capable of completing their tasks. Interns are assigned to host organizations around Hawaii island where they gain hands-on experience in Aloha 'Aina research, management, and education. $500 To Sponsor a Huakaʻi;Your donation will help us provide a space for our PIPES cohort to connect with community partners for service learning opportunities that create real world scenarios and everlasting kinship. $250 To Support a Māhuahua; Your gift will be used towards developing weekly workshops during summer programming that create a space for interns to build capacity in our Moʻo ʻAina Framework components and learn valuable personal and professional development tools. It includes a meal for the cohort, supplies for activities, and the ability to bring in guest speakers who are leaders in our communities. $1,500 To Support Orientation; This generous donation will go towards hosting our 4-day orientation camp. Interns kick off the PIPES summer experience with service learning activities, peer-to-peer and mentor networking, and opportunities to create lasting relationships through shared experiences.
