At night near a station in Saitama prefecture, during Christmas. There were many Christmas lights being hung, and it was very pretty.
These are two panorama images that I have taken at two different seasons during my first semester in Japan both being Fall, and Winter. My time abroad has been something very special to me. My first semester here in Japan has been physically, cold and unnatural to someone who has lived their entire life in Hawaii. However, the mental experiences that I have made within my short time here is something that I believe will change the way in which I carry myself out throughout the rest of my life. Reminiscing on these moments, it’s interesting to note that even though it was probably a mere 3 or 4 months since I’ve taken these photos, yet I feel so disconnected from who I was when I took them. And that may go to show how different I feel from the person I was before coming to Study Abroad. All I know completely is that I must continue forward and improve and adapt to become the person who I am hoping to become.
This image was take during the fall. It was at a park in Saitama prefecture.
