Alison Dupre

Womxn with blonde hair from the shoulder up I am currently a senior at UH Hilo working at the Women's/LGBTQ+ Center as the Lead Program Coordinator. As the lead program coordinator I plan a variety of events that promote and foster an inclusive and diverse campus environment. In addition to my role at the Centers, I serve on the University of Hawaii Commission on the Status of Women in which I represent the students of UH Hilo among the seven UH campuses. I also serve as the Vice President for UH Hilo's LGBTQ+ Club (Pride Hilo) which has been a fun and supportive community to me as a student.

Geneba Revuelta

Womxn with black hair partially in the sun Aloha all, my name is Geneba Revuelta I am a Latinx student at the University of Hawaii at Hilo (UHH). I am a senior double majoring in Gender and Women’s Studies and Philosophy with a minor in History. I am also the program coordinator at the Women’s and LGBTQ+ Center. I am devoted to ensuring that all students feel welcomed and safe within our campus community. I strive for an environment that is more inclusive and accepting of one another. I believe representation is key and that is what our center’s mission revolves around. Elevating the voices of those who have been historically silenced. Educating each other, making meaningful connections and building a better future for us all.

If you would like to volunteer at the Women's Center, email us at uhhwomen@hawaii.edu. Volunteers will have the opportunity to reach out to the community, and make an impact on the UH Hilo campus.
