UH Hilo offers art classes for keiki

The Center for Community Engagement at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo offers keiki art classes with Kellie Miyazu for ages 8-10. Classes are held Wednesdays, February 5-26, from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. in UH Hilo’s PB-5 classroom. Cost is $45.

Students will learn fun and exploratory beginner-level drawing techniques, including basic coloring techniques through various mediums.

Miyazu is the Creator and Coordinator of the Youth Arts Series at the East Hawaiʻi Cultural Center. She also teaches art at Waiakeawaena Elementary School and at E.B. DeSilva’s EdVenture afterschool enrichment program. She received her art degree from UH Hilo.
