Leadership workshop coming to Hilo

The College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo offers a workshop on Discovering the Leader in You, scheduled for Friday, June 10, from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. in UH Hilo’s UCB Room 331. The fee is $85.
This workshop is designed to help participants uncover the steps to maximize their leadership expertise, whether just starting out as a leader or in a leadership role for some time. Instructor Malati Shinazy is a facilitator, author, and conference speaker with years of experience in diverse workforces, conducting leadership development, training on people skills and team building and repair for organizations of all sizes.
Private and non-government employers/businesses may qualify for a 50% tuition waiver through the state’s Employment & Training Fund (ETF). For details, visit http://labor.hawaii.gov/wdd/home/employers/etf/micro/ and apply at least 10 business days before the start of class.
