Mixed media art class coming to UH Hilo

The College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo offers a class in mixed media that explores composition and texture in the form of collage. Mixed Media 1 will be held on Saturdays, January 30 to March 19, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the University’s Manono Campus, Building 393 Room 101. Tuition is $125 and includes some art supplies.
Instructor Darcy Gray will guide and encourage participants to create abstract works of art using paint, paper, photos and everyday objects. The class is open to ages 13 and up. Younger students may enroll with the accompaniment of a registered adult.
