File a Complaint or Obtain Institutional Support

If you would like to report an incident to UH Hilo, you can choose to contact the Title IX Coordinator, the Lead Deputy Coordinator, or a responsible employee.

Temporary Restraining Orders & No Contact Orders

The court may issue a temporary restraining order (TRO) against someone who is harassing or abusing you. View information on obtaining a TRO . Another option is to request a University-initiated No Contact Order (NCO). An NCO may be issued in cases of sexual misconduct/gender discrimination, with or without an investigation. The Order will restrict one or both parties from contacting each other in person, by telephone, or any electronic means, including social media. Violation of the Order may constitute a separate violation of University policy. For information on NCOs, please contact the Title IX Coordinator.
