  • Land-based aquaculture production of native marine fish: ʻopakapaka (pink snapper Pristipomoides filamentosus), kahala (longfin yellowtail Seriola rivoliana), giant grouper (Epinephelus lanceolatus), ʻamaʻama (striped mullet Mugil cephalus)
  • Sustainable fish feed formulations and feeding protocols
  • Farming omnivorous and carnivorous fish with algae-based feeds using Spirulina, Schizochytrium, Haematococcus, and other alternative ingredients as yeast, bacteria and insect meals
  • Land-based integrated farming of marine fish and seaweeds in recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS) and integrated multi-trophic aquaculture (IMTA)
