UH Hilo English Language Placement Assessment

This is the Reading section of the English Language Placement Assessment. This is a placement test for students whose first language is not English.

You will read 3 short essays and answer questions after each one. You will have 45 minutes to finish the assessment. Once you have finished, click the "Submit for Grading" button and your assessment will be scored. Then you will receive an email from ELI Director Julie Mowrer with your score and the reading course that will best meet your reading skills.
