How Do I Find a Computer?

Use your UH username and password to log in to the computers in the library, just like you use to log in to MyUH and Laulima.

3rd floor (Upper Level) Main Area

All computers are connected to the internet and the network print system and have Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Reader (.pdf reader).

Exception:
The two terminals near the Circulation Desk are limited to searching the library catalog and have a 10-minute time limit.

Where Are the Computers?

There are computers on all 3 floors of the library:

How Do I Print? Scan? Copy? Fax?

Printers

Most computers in the library are connected to the network print system. There are black & white printers on all three floors of the library and a color printer on the 2nd floor (Main Level) near the Reference Desk.

Scanners

The library has three scanners - two on the 2nd floor (Main Level) and one in the 'Ulu Room on the 3rd floor (Upper Level).

Copiers

There is one copy machine on the 2nd floor (Main Level), located to the right of the Circulation Desk.

Although the library doesn't have a color photocopier, you can scan what you need and send it to the color printer on the 2nd floor (Main Level) near the Reference Desk.

Faxing

Hawaiʻi CC and UH Hilo students, faculty, and staff can send (but not receive) faxes from the Circulation Desk.
