Program Description

The Hawaiʻi Performing Arts Certificate is an interdisciplinary course of study with the Performing Arts Department and Ka Haka ʻUla o Keʻelikōlani College of Hawaiian Language. It allows students to pursue areas of performance in Dance, Drama or Music utilizing Hawaiian language and Hawaiʻi-based traditions and knowledge. This certificate can be pursued along-side the student’s regular academic major.

Requirements (20 credits)

  1. Hawaiian Language Requirement (8 credits)

Notes

  1. Each course for the Hawaii Performing Arts certificate must be passed with a grade of C or better.
  2. A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required for all courses taken for the certificate.
