Marine Ornamental Fish Production
The specially designed Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) houses Hawaiian reef fish that are either endemic or locally-important to the state. Current project includes building a marine ornamental broodstock facility for raising Achilles Tang, Chevron Tang, and Triggerfish.
The ultimate goal of this project is conservation of Hawaiian reef fishes by raising species in captivity.
