Larval Fish Rearing

Rearing fish larvae is a challenging part of fish culture because larvae are very sensitive to water quality, have high nutritional requirements and require the use of live feeds. Currently larval rearing is being used for marine ornamental larvae but future projects include larval rearing for foodfish.
