Aloha and Welcome to the Department of Psychology
UH Hilo's Department of Psychology is one of the oldest and largest departments at UH Hilo. Thirteen full-time faculty all with doctoral degrees and established research programs provide a comprehensive B.A. degree program to over 200 undergraduate students, covering key branches in Psychology. The Department also provides M.A. degrees in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Additionally, the department hosts its own student-run chapter of Psi Chi, the International Honors Society in Psychology. Considering its degree programs and diversity of courses as well as faculty scholarship and applied learning opportunities for students, Psychology is one of the most productive academic programs at UH Hilo.
