College of Business and Economics (CoBE)
What does a degree from UH Hilo/ CoBE mean?
UH Hilo’s College of Business and Economics (CoBE) produces management expertise for the local and global community. We strive to offer an education and a degree that enables our graduates to become competent, confident, and ethical business leaders. CoBE achieves this goal through “active” pedagogy, internships, community outreach, and scholarship.
CoBE engages with the Big Island through various board and organization memberships, internships, consulting, and community education. CoBE’s relatively small class sizes, full-time faculty with terminal degrees, and teaching focus are valued by students, employers, and families. Because CoBE directs effort toward delivering a quality educational experience, it enjoys strong support from the East Hawai‘i community.
