Summary:
This thesis analyzed climatological records from Mauna Loa Observatory (1958-2010) and Mauna Kea summit (1982-2010). Both Mauna Kea summit and MLO have two seasons: Hoo-ilo (winter) and Kau (summer). Temperatures and wind flow patterns are described in the two seasons. Their relationships during El Nino and La Nina are also investigated.
