- Summary:
- This document describes massive tree dieback that has occurred initially in 1960s in the Hawaiian Metrosideros polymorpha dorminated rainforests. Comparisons are also made with other Pacific forest diebacks in New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Japan, and the Galapagos islands.
