- Summary:
- The rates of Metrosideros polymorph leaf decomposition were studied on the windward sides of the islands of Maui and Hawaii with elevations from 410m to 1780m. It was found that the decomposition rates and Q10 are relevant to not only temperature but soil nutrients as well. There is no obvious relations between decomposition rates and elevations.
