Summary:
The MMAMA 2012 was conducted in "Apollo Valley" located at an elevation of 11,500 ft on the southeast flank of the Mauna Kea volcano. The testing instruments include JUNO II rover, VAPoR/MESH, and MIMOS IIA. The lessons learned: 1) the science operations of the rover can provide adequate data to yield accurate derivative products; 2) instrumentation should be selected based on engineering and science goals; 3) paralleling the tactical and strategic science processes impacts science return significantly.
