- Summary:
- This study was done in an effort to predict where a given species will invade, and in which directions it will spread once established. The species discussed in this study is that of the Argentine ant. Here, the spatial and temporal patterns of the spread of two ant populations that occur at Haleakala, on the island of Maui, were analyzed from 1967 to 1997.
