Schedule an Exam

All testing is done by appointment only. All appointments should be made by the student taking the test. Faculty members should not be scheduling on behalf of students.

The UH Hilo Testing Center is open Monday-Thursday and closed on all state holidays.

UH Hilo Testing

Disability Accommodations

• Special accommodation exams must be approved and determined by [UH Hilo Disability and Access Services].(/studentaffairs/uds/)
• After the instructor's materials and forms have been received, students can schedule their testing appointment. See the student or faculty page for more information.
• All testing appointments must be schedule at least two business days in advance.

Make-Up Testing

• All make-up testing must be approved by instructors
• Scheduling a make-up test must follow the Testing Center protocol for students

Non-UH Testing

• The University of Hawaiʻi System provides test-proctoring services for non-University of Hawaiʻi tests for a fee. The nonrefundable fee is $25.00/hour and any fraction thereof (i.e., 1 hour and 15 minutes = $50.00)
• Contact your professor/ instructor and request that all test materials be sent to hilotest@hawaii.edu at least 5 business days prior to the exam open date
• Please call (808) 932-7882 or email hilotest@hawaii.edu to schedule an appointment and provide the following information):
  • Class Name and Number
  • Originating Campus
• The validated receipt confirming payment must be received prior to your test appointment. Payment can be made in person, or over the phone if paying by credit card, to the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo, Cashier’s Office.
