Summary:
This Integrated Natural Resources Management Plan (INRMP) provides for the conservation and rehabilitation of natural resources and the sustainable multipurpose use of the US Army Garrison - Hawaii (USAG-HI) resources, while being subject to safety requirements and military security. It is designed to support the USAG-HI in accomplishing its critical military missions, (as considered appropriate to the military), in managing its natural resources, and ensuring the maintenance of quality training land, while providing for a "no net loss" in the capability of installation lands to support the military mission and other activities. This document also provides for the wildlife and land, wildlife enhancement and modification, the establishment of natural resource management objectives and time frames, public access where appropriate, the sustained use by the public of natural resources while ensuring that such use is consistent with other needs, while ensuring compliance by both the military and the public with regard to related environmental laws and regulations.
