Summary:
In addition to the discussion of geochemical properties of Wrangellia flood basalt, the author presented Sr-, Nd-, and Pb-isotopic data for Mauna Kea lavas from the Hawaii Scientific Drilling Project drillcore, which showed a gradual evolution in Sr-, Nd-, Pb-, and He-isotopes. The implications of the results for understanding plume/lithosphere interactions and large-scale plume structure have also been discussed.
