- Summary:
- The TMT sublease on Mauna Kea was approved by the Land Board in June 2014, over the objections of Kalani Flores who requested a contested case hearing. The board denied the request based on past practice. Judge Greg K. Nakamura ordered a remand for the purpose of presenting the Mauna Kea Anaina Hou opinion to the board "for appropriate action."
Hawaiian activist Palikapu Dedman claimed that he had placed bones of an ancestor on an ahu on the TMT access road.
