Summary:
The purpose of this research is to study the temperatures inside the Mauna Kea craters that resemble the craters on Mars. It was found that some sponts in Puu Wekiu and Puu Waiau are colder than the sourounding areas. The coldest area closely corresponds to the area where Woodcock had documented permafrost.
