- Summary:
- SkyProbe is an instrument designed to measure sky transparency as an input to telescope data reduction. It is fixed to the side of the CFHT. The V-band data from January 2003 through October 2005 were analyzed and showed that Mauna Kea skies are truly clear for ~56% of the time, and clear enough to observe for ~76% of the nights.
