- Summary:
- The turbulence coherence time is a key parameter that defines the effect of atmospheric turbulence on telescope image quality. Using MASS and DIMM, the coherence time statistics have been obtained for TMT candidate sites. The results showed that median coherence times range from 4.2 to 5.6 ms.
