Summary:

The three letters dated July 1 are about the preliminary test results on Mauna Kea summit which show very good seeing conditions. Invitation to the dedication has been extended. In the letter to Mr. Nicks, Dr. Kuiper listed the seeing test results for a week June 22-28 and invited Mr. Nicks to the dedication ceremonies. In the letter to Mr. Akiyama, Dr. Kuiper gave five names and address to whom invitations should be sent.
