Summary:

French and Canadian representatives will meet State and UH officials to talk about the CFHT project. IfA is seeking fund from NASA to build a 120-inch infrared telescope atop Mauna Kea. French and Canadians will pay for the construction of CFHT and 85% of the operating cost. UH will provide the land and support facilities as well as 15% of operating cost.
