A picture of snow capped Mauna Kea view from Hilo Bay. With hand written notes from Mr. Akiyama on November 16, 1964: Bill Seymour went up as far as 12,100 ft. elevation on Sunday, Nov. 15, and he said he coundn't go any further because of heavy snow. We have had good weather since last Friday, so the snow should melt within this week if weather continues.
