- The correspondence between the geographical distribution of fungi and the journeys taken by mycologists has often been noted. This document describes how the observations of fungi, collected and recorded from various habitats in the Hawaiian Islands and the Central Pacific, are designed to show how the ecosystem and the distribution of mycologically interested biologists with regard to the geographical extension of fungus distribution. The materials and methods used in this study as well as the findings are herein described.
