Summary:
This document describes a successful two-week expedition that was made to the 13,784 foot summit of Mauna Kea by the Hawaiian Academy of Science. The purpose of this expedition was to allow geologists, botanists, entomologists and other naturalists to study the features of the area that is located above the 10,000 foot elevation that had been done previously through hurried one-day trips to the summit and return.
