Mullein Varbascum thapsus Life history
Summary:
While considerable interest has been shown in the evolution and life histories of the Common Mullein (Verbascum Thapsus), a Eurasian weed on which most studies concentrated on the effects of density-dependent and density-independent mortality without regard to factors such as climate, succession, and predation. This study describes the life history variation of the Verbascum thapsus L with regard to latitude that includes environmental extremes, (e.g., wet to very dry habitats), and different successional stages.
