- The purpose of this study was to evaluate the pathogenicity of two avian poxvirus isolates from endangered Hawaiian wild birds, the Hawaiian Goose and the Palila, to compare this with the fowl poxvirus in chickens, and to determine their antigenic relationship with the type species of the Avipoxvirus genus, FWPV.
