- Discovery of an abandoned fruit orchard at Keanakolu that is situated on the southern slope of Mauna Kea at an elevation of approximately five thousand feet. The orchard was planted about twenty-five or more years ago close to where the Humuula Sheep Ranch house was then situated. The headquarters at Keanakolu were later abandoned and the fruit orchard was left uncared for. A report on the condition of the orchard is also included.
