About a third of the sheep of the Islands are of the Marino kind. They are found on the old Parker Ranch at Humuula, between Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea at an average elevation of 6,000 feet to which they are best adapted to this locality. This document describes the station that was owned by the first proprietor, James Gay, and describes the complete sheering and segregation process of the sheep.
