Summary:
This report is from the Mauna Kea expedition of 1935 which was sponsored by the Hawaii Academy of Science. The sources of information used about the climate and weather of Mauna Kea were the records of the former Humuula cooperative U.S. Weather Bureau station, early observations made at the Humuula Sheep Station (discontinued after February 1914), and observations taken at Lake Waiau (13,010 feet near the summit) during the Mauna Kea expedition of 1935.
