Multimedia Spaces and Editing Stations
- All stations require a UH username and password.
- All stations are part of the Library’s print network, so regular fees for printing apply.

Media Production Lumi ʻUlu (ʻUlu Room)
The ʻUlu Room has equipment to:
- Create and practice a presentation for class
- Work on a multimedia project or portfolio
- Collaborate on a group production
- Design a website
- Edit video
- Edit and enhance photos
- Scan documents and images and import them into a project
The room is not entirely soundproof so please minimize noise when using the room.
The following software packages are installed on the Multimedia Editing Station in the ʻUlu Room:

Multimedia Editing Stations
The Multimedia Editing stations are Dell XPS computers. Located to the Computer Lab on the 2nd floor (Main Level) of the library near the Hawaiian Collection.

With the multimedia editing stations you can:
- Work on a multimedia project or portfolio
- Design a website
- Edit video and audio
- Edit and enhance photos
When editing audio or video, patrons must use earphone jacks. Patrons can purchase them at the circulation desk for $1.
Window PC Scanning Stations
Scanning stations have Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 installed to allow easy editing of scanned images.

Two large format scanning stations are located in the PC Lab.
Located in the PC lab is a scanner with a document feeder.
A scanner is available on the 3rd floor (Upper Level) in the LumiʻUlu Media Production Room.
There is also an ADA scanner Workstation, located on the 2nd floor (Main Level) near the newspapers and periodicals behind the Reference Collection.
Save Your Work Often
Library computers do not save anything! If you create a file, you must save it to your own USB or Google drive or email it to yourself. When You Log Off a Library Computer Your Work Will Disappear!
