The Art Department of the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo is pleased to announce the 2002 University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo and Hawaiʻi Community College Student Art Exhibition in the Hilo Campus Center Gallery of the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo. The work in the exhibition features the creative work of students in painting, drawing, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, collage, and mixed media.

The opening reception is on Monday, April 22, 2002 in Campus Center Gallery, room 315, 6:00–8:00 pm. The event is free and open to the public. The annual show, which is open to all registered students of the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo was juried by UH Hilo and Hawaiʻi CC art faculty. The faculty jury selected nine student works for Juror's Awards. The awards for achievement in studio work were presented to the following students:

The Student Art Exhibition was on view in the Campus Center Gallery April 22 through September, 2002. The gallery hours are from Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.

The exhibition is a presentation of the UH Hilo Student Art Association, the UH Hilo Student Activities Council, and the Art Department.
