The library’s home page is an excellent place to begin looking for scholarly resources.
Besides finding the call numbers for books in the library, there are links to many academic online resources such as journal article databases, full-text magazines, newspapers, scholarly journals, and ebooks (from the library’s home page, select the logo for your campus).
Most of these resources are not free, so they will not be retrieved by, or accessible from, Google or other search engines.
As a UH Hilo or Hawaiʻi Community College student you can use these resources from anywhere with internet access. When you are outside the library or using the library’s wireless network with your own device, you will need to log in with your UH username and password - it’s that easy!
