Professor, Chris Frueh headshot in white shirtProf. & Author Chris Frueh Chris Frueh, Professor, Psychology, just signed a contract with Rogue Umbrella, a Ukrainian publisher, to translate his book Operator Syndrome (2024).

The book is a practical and relatable guide to managing and treating the complex, interrelated injuries and impairments experienced by military special operators and many other combatants (e.g., traumatic brain injury, hormonal dysregulation, sleep dysregulation and apnea, chronic pain and headaches, psychiatric symptoms, perceptual system impairment, and existential concerns.

The publisher initiated the conversation with the belief that the book would be valuable for Ukrainian soldiers, veterans, and their families.
